GEEETech Prusa i3 Anti Z Wobble
thingiverse
This is a minor tweak on KingJohn's Anti-Z Wobble design, which I printed out and analyzed. The vertical support pillar for the entire X-axis turned out to be too short for my Prusa. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the part where the linear bearing is screwed in was intentionally bent to allow it to align with the rod - a feature that might not be present in older models. As a result, the axis was supported by the part under the linear bearing, which also exerted lateral pressure on the nut and Z rod. To address this issue, I raised the pillar up by 2mm and subtly bent the top part to enable it to tilt slightly right and left without applying excessive force on the X-axis.
