I installed a brand new 40mm fan on my Geeetech Prusa I3 printer, specifically designed for cooling purposes. The original stock fan was used exclusively to keep the control board at a comfortable temperature, so I swapped it out and now utilize that same unit to cool the extruder efficiently.
