I needed to shield the live wires of the printer but couldn't locate the precise component here, so I created one myself to match the dimensions of my PSU - which comes with my printer, Geeetech Full Metal Aluminium Prusa i3X. Additionally, I required clamps to secure it to the 6mm Alu frame, so I designed those as well. From the images you can see that the PSU has no mounting holes on two sides, making it challenging to secure the cover. It is held in place with one self-threading screw and one ziptie as shown. The clamps fit snugly over the PSU and then are secured to the frame using an M3 screw in the provided hole. Print Settings: Printer: Geeetech Full Metal Aluminum Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% Notes: I attempted to minimize supports as much as possible while reducing plastic usage. I used Cura with LINE infill for easy removal. The print was completed in PLA at 200/55, using gluestick and cheap hairspray for adhesion. Post-Printing: On my heated bed, coated with gluestick and hairspray, removing the pieces proved difficult. They stuck extremely tightly.
