Geeetech MK8 to Bowden Adapter

Geeetech MK8 to Bowden Adapter

I modified the MK9 Bowden extruder from Kharar to fit the Geeetech MK8 extruder that came with my Geeetech aluminum Prusa printer. After weeks of working on the MK8, I was unable to get it to stop jamming, so I converted it to a Bowden using an E3Dv6 head. The Geeetech MK8 has a unique-looking bottom on its plastic part that is different from other adapters I've seen, so I designed one to allow others to convert theirs to a Bowden as well. It's made to sit atop the printer, which features 6mm thick aluminum. A hole allows for screwing in a Bowden tube adapter with 6mm threads. Print Settings Printer: Tevo Tarantula Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.4 Nozzle, 0.2 layer height Infill: 55% but should not matter Notes: I printed this using PETG, which is really tough and flexes just enough to clamp on top of the aluminum frame of my Geeetech.
