Geeetech MK8 Base Mount

Geeetech MK8 Base Mount

thingiverse

Hi Guys! This is a mount I designed in Tinkercad as the foundation of my dual fan mount. It uses the factory mount points on the steel Geeetech MK8 Carriage Mount. The screws needed to mount this are 2 - M4x10 and 2 - M3x10 hex screws found at most hardware stores. You can use the mount as the foundation to create your own fan mount, add lights, etc. This project was inspired by a video I watched on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhIaEnAoAUA). This thing was made with Tinkercad and you can edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/gO7FDFkVJeo. Print Settings: Printer: Geeetech Aluminum Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No I started by sketching out the design in my mind, thinking about how I could create a dual fan mount that would work seamlessly with the factory mount points on the steel Geeetech MK8 Carriage Mount.
