Geeetech i3 Underbed ToolBox
thingiverse
My desktop is constantly overflowing with tools, quickly becoming cluttered in an instant, making it a struggle to keep everything organized. This tool holder is designed to fit snugly under the heated bed of my Geeetech i3 printer and should be able to accommodate all those tools and items I always seem to have scattered around, such as: * Allen keys * Screwdrivers * Wrenches * Digital calipers * Pliers * Screws, washers, and nuts * Nozzles and throats * Nozzle cleaning drills * And many more... All walls are 0.8mm thick to match perfectly with a 0.4mm nozzle, which I use, allowing two complete perimeters to fit neatly: this should provide enough structure to hold everything while saving on filament usage and print time. The box features four slots for small zip ties so it can be securely attached to the M10 rods of the frame and avoid any interference with the Y belt when moving the frame: tighten the zip ties to keep the toolbox firmly in place with the frame. I also designed a dedicated nozzles insert that serves as a separator for one of the small compartments, allowing up to 12 nozzles to be readily available and possibly sorted by size. **UPDATE**: It has been a challenging print due to its wide surface area, but this is now permanently attached to my printer and works flawlessly. To prevent corners from lifting slightly, a little brim might help, but I managed to complete the print without any additional adhesion assistance. To speed up the print, I recommend using a concentric pattern on both bottom and top surfaces: the honeycomb pattern can be time-consuming with both lines and zig-zag patterns.
