GEEETech i3 (All Version): Calibration Kit

thingiverse

Hi! Over the past two years, I've helped numerous individuals fine-tune their GEEETech i3 series printers. A lot of the time, resolving the typical issues hinged on one simple solution: better calibration! Every person I assist with calibration asks me the same set of instructions to achieve a more precise calibration, so I've decided to share my standard STL files and provide step-by-step instructions. This kit contains: 1. Regular 100x100, and 100x100x100 brackets that enable you to accurately calculate Marlin's STEPS_PER_UNIT define for your printer. 2. A standard 20x20x10x1 calibration parallelepiped that helps you determine the correct value for Slic3R Extrusion Multiplier. 3. An Excel spreadsheet that automates calculations for STEPS_PER_UNIT and Extrusion Multiplier Calibration. I've also documented each step of these fine-tuning procedures with photos and screenshots, making it easy to follow along. Remember, if one of my designs catches your eye, consider using the "Tip Designed" button on my profile. It takes time to create, design, and share these resources!
