Geeetech GT2560 housing lid with integrated Pi 3 case
thingiverse
This is a unique fusion of the GT2560 case and the VESA case specifically designed for the Raspberry Pi 3. Since no similar designs were found on Thingiverse, I combined elements from various projects to create this remix. The Pi case bottom was merged with the GT2560 case lid, and strategically placed holes were drilled in for 40mm fans - one above the other, directly over the stepper drivers on the board. Further refinements may be necessary as the SD card slot might not fit properly, potentially due to an incorrect orientation or interference from the X-axis stepper. The top part underwent a transformation, with all decorations and display connector holes removed to make way for a 40mm fan hole. This modification is optional; if you prefer not to use it, the original lid will function as intended. You might consider this design overly reliant on fans. If you'd like to omit the fan holes, I can accommodate that request, but please note that the hex pattern would be lost in the process. To achieve optimal results, print the top case separately from the plate; otherwise, it may not print correctly.
