I built an enclosure for my Geeetech rectangular GLCD display, updating it from an LCD and requiring a custom fit that I couldn't find. The final result was a one-off piece with some problems, so take it as a work in progress. I made the decision not to add nut pockets to the front panel because there aren't any, instead inserting the necessary hardware directly into the lid posts (which is essentially MacGyvering it). However, I avoided drilling through the front of the display for extra reinforcement. There's also an issue with the support structure at the back: it tends to come loose over time. When printing this enclosure, I had to make some modifications due to design constraints; notably, I reduced the size of the SDHC slot holder. Although not ideal, it simplified the design enough for me to use it as-is since it creates additional space needed by my spool holder system. This design uses PLA and has supports, mainly for assembling and maintaining its structural integrity while providing sufficient stability during print operation. All fasteners used were 3mm. In an effort to create a more cohesive fit, the triangle in question at the base can be interchanged with one corner triangle piece originally designed for mendelmax 1.5. Additionally, accessing the GLCD board's backlight requires some tinkering; users need to make space by adding a small hole for easier wiring connection management (another note regarding work-in-progress features).
