After being dissatisfied with the clunky belt attachment on the G2S, which requires punching holes in the belt, I discovered a sleek self-locking-belt design at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1582570 but desired something that attached securely to the existing components without relying on new parts or friction-fit anywhere. The resulting set of belt clamps attach firmly to the aluminum block on the sliders using the original screws, and no additional modifications are required. There are three versions available - generally I recommend the "slimline" version, as my original non-slimline model causes a 2mm lateral belt offset which might introduce scaling errors at the top of prints; however, I have not done the math to confirm, so it's better to err on the side of caution. The "slimline extended" version is recommended if you're already working with pre-cut belts, as otherwise I believe the belt length in the original kit may be too short.
