I'm attempting to create a helpful add-on for the PLA filament cooling system on my Geeetech G2/G2S delta printer, and I'm experimenting with reusing one of the existing extruder fans as a useful duct. Right now, this is still in development, so don't expect everything to be perfect. You'll need to remove two diagonal rods and screw in the fan support using an M3 x 20 screw. This can be tricky due to the cramped space between the brackets. A hex grid from Thingiverse ( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1171303 ) might be a good idea to shield your fan. I had to print it with some extra supports, which slowed me down a bit. The STL file is available online for your reference. Here are some minor adjustments made to improve its performance: Better airflow and simpler design are two significant upgrades over the initial version. I haven't tried it out yet, so please provide feedback if you've used this design in practice!
