Small adapter to use M6 threaded rods in Z axis and replaces M8 lead nut, uses M6 nut and existing 4x M3 to mount it. Conversion: - Print 2x M6 Z adapter and put 2x M6 nuts inside (very tight), mount it to the existing X gantry (white PLA piece in photo). - Print 2x Z couplers (5mm to 6mm), use 4x M3x10 and 4x M3 nuts per coupler. - Optional but recommended: Z Axis Bracket (left & right) with printable bearing, enclosed the M6 printable bearing. Advantage: - M6 threaded rod is more flexible, won't affect X or Y axis as much as (bent) M8 threaded rods. - M6 gives 1mm pitch instead of 1.25mm with M8 - higher Z resolution (0.005mm per step). Disadvantage: - M6 nuts have some vertical play compared to M8 lead nuts, but it seems not to affect printing. Add to Start G-Code: M92 Z3200 or change it in the firmware if you can.
