Fan Mount for Side Mounted Geeetech Control Board Made to Replace the Noisy 40mm Fan on My Geeetech Prusa I3 Printer with an 80mm Fractal Fan. Mount this fan mount using the screws supplied with the fan, then slide the lip of the fan mount under the board from above. Use the slots in the base to route cables away from the board for maximum airflow over components that need it. Since changing the extruder fan and board cooling fan on my printer, I no longer hear it when it's not printing. The OpenScad file is included if you want to modify anything to fit your printer. This was one of my first OpenScad models, so don't expect perfect code, but there are a few comments to guide you. For cable management, check out the cable clip available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1773238, which holds ribbon cables, stepper cables and other cables. Note: My previous statement that this was for a Ramps 1.4 board is incorrect. Print Settings Printer: Geeetech Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 50% Notes: 0.3 mm nozzle, 3 perimeters, 0.6 mm top / bottom, 50% infill, = 16 grams of filament (according to Cura).
