I found myself with a collection of filaments from various manufacturers and decided to create a simple filament roller for my aluminum Geeetech I3 Pro. I already have another roller, but this one is unique because it doesn't care what diameter the filament roll-core has. To build this roller, I used four standard ball-bearings from a local hardware store. They are 12x28x8 mm in size. Assembling the roller requires no tools, but if you have a deburring tool for holding the ball-bearing in place, it makes the process easier since the fit is very tight. This design does not include a filament guide, as I find them restrictive. I've added a file with all the parts and saved individual files for each component so you can customize the assembly to your liking. You'll need right, left, and four shims to complete it. The filament runs smoothly on this device, and I'm thrilled with how it turned out.
