Remix of a remix! Alternative version for a 6mm frame: It uses an unbranded optical endstop switch and simply guides the filament through it. The endstop is connected to a Raspberry Pi running Octoprint, which takes care of parking and resuming correctly with the Filament Sensor Plugin. Works seamlessly with all 1.75 mm filaments, although you may need to drill it slightly larger to accommodate 3mm filaments, except for transparent ones.
