Geeetech all metal jhead hot end Direct fit Greg's Wade extruder
thingiverse
Modified Greg's Wade extruder built to directly attach Geeetech all metal hot end without adapters needed. Remember, use a fan to avoid overheating the extruder - a 30mm fan like this one will do: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:389444 A little extra space in the hole allowed for more Z travel with this longer extruder and moving screw locations up was necessary to fit Geeetech dimensions perfectly. Gears and Guider remain unchanged as an added convenience. Instructions I suggest printing in ABS or Nylon for their excellent heat resistance properties. My print at .2 LH speed used a .35 nozzle with 40% infill and four quality parameters, which turned out great. Before assembly, clean the first part of the holes down to 3mm while keeping the second half intact for screw threading - just like regular jhead installation requires. Printed on my trusty MendelMax 1.5.
