Geeetech A30 Z MGN12H Linear rail mod

This is a fantastic mod, but it's not as straightforward to set up like the X and Y axis. It demands several calibrations. I printed everything in PETG with 100% infill and all layers at 0.3 mm thickness. In fact, I printed the first layer at 0.3 mm and the others at 0.2 mm, which resulted in a missing last layer and a noticeable gap. So, make sure to check the preview of your slicer software before printing. I had to drill the four holes of the metal supports using a 6mm tip to get a bit of "play". To build this mod, you'll need: - Two 500 mm MGN12H rails and two MGN12H blocks http://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/FRtpNpfK - Eight M3x8 screws for the MGN12H blocks and approximately eight more M3x8 screws http://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/2B6eKbYy - M3 T-nuts for the rail http://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/qsa9Hg2c The X motor needs to be reversed, so you'll need to change its direction. I recommend doing this via software, but if not, you can physically reverse the wires. For installation, you'll require four M3x30 screws. Check out a demo video here https://youtu.be/G24iAQPMsy8
