Geeetech A30 Hot End Strain Relief
thingiverse
The cable plug for the hot end on my 12V version of the A30 is incredibly weak and consistently flexes, leading to two major issues. Firstly, it produces poor data that appears in the graph on Octoprint, making it seem like the PIDs are drastically off. Secondly, it starts to deteriorate and eventually needs to be replaced entirely. This strain relief device is specifically designed to secure the cable firmly against the hot end plug, eliminating any slack or movement. After using it on my A30 for an extended period, I've noticed a significant improvement - all those pesky bad data points have vanished, and the temperature seems to hold steady. It's worth noting that this strain relief won't fit the A10 or A20 models since their hot end connectors are positioned on the opposite side of the carriage compared to the A30.
