Geeetech A20M - new cover to deport X endstop

thingiverse

The new version of the Geeetech A20M printer does not allow the nozzle to be taken out at X0, which prevents installing a nozzle cleaner from Thingiverse for a purge basket. To modify the printer, I designed a new cover for the endstop switch of X using Fusion 360, allowing recoil out of the nozzle tray. The existing cover is held by four screws, which also secure the PAP motor, hidden behind an adhesive with a printed QR Code. Before making this change, remember to loosen the belt X and remove the cover. Also, shorten the pins on the JST connector attached to the limit switch card so they don't touch the PAP motor axis. I created two versions of the new cover: a simple V1 and a slightly more detailed V2. Both allow about 4mm retraction of the limit switch. Be cautious with this X recoil modification, as it causes wires from the large black connector to abut against the aluminum profile, now horizontal. To fix this, straighten the wires and keep them that way so they no longer touch the aluminum profile.
