I recently purchased a Geeeteck A20 and felt compelled to upgrade its inadequate cooling fan. The 5015 radial fan has impressed me, so I designed this duct to optimize its performance. This duct is straightforward to install and provides effective cooling without any unnecessary features. To ensure a smooth fit, you'll need to trim the bottom of the hot end cage to accommodate the cooler's limbs around the nozzle. Be aware that the space under the hotend of the A20 is quite tight, so I wrapped cotton pads around the duct to prevent overheating and melting. Alternatively, a silicon sock could serve the same purpose. My approach prioritizes airflow over targeting the nozzle directly, as the part will quickly enter the airflow stream due to its constant movement. I'm using cable ties for now, but screws would be a more secure option. UPDATE: After testing the cooler, I found it worked adequately, but the airflow bypassed the nozzle and exited under the touch probe, diminishing the cooling effect. To address this issue, I created a second version with shorter limbs that end at the nozzle, eliminating the curve at the end of each limb. This modification has increased turbulence, resulting in a more vertical air flow pattern. I've left the original design for those who might prefer it, but the revised MK2 model offers improved performance.
