Geeetech A10M Bed Clip v2
thingiverse
This is a bed clip designed to replace metal clips that come with some Geeetech printers. The problem with the metal clips is that they can cause short circuits on the underside of the heated bed when they scratch away the paint. By using these bed clips, you eliminate this issue. This is an improved version compared to my previous bed clip. The main issue I faced was that the clip would not provide enough grip after a few prints. This was because the "springy" part got too close to the heat bed, became soft, and lost tension. Version 2 of this design addresses this problem by moving the spring part away from the bed and adding a separator so it cannot be pushed too close to the bed. This design should work on all recent Geeetech printers with a super plate (about 5.5mm total thickness of heatbed + glass plate), including A10, A10M, A20M, A30. I have tested it on my A10M. I printed my clips with PETG and they are very tight even after a few prints now. Other materials may also work; please try them out and give me some feedback! Print the clip upright. Mine kept coming loose from the bed, so I finally settled for using a brim, although I had to remove it from the part in the end.
