Geeetech A10 Simple Filament Guide

I created a simple yet effective filament guide for my Geeetech A10 printer. The guide is precision-engineered with symmetry in mind, allowing it to be used up to four times before requiring replacement. It provides a snug fit when pressed onto the bracket that holds the extruder at optimal settings on my machine. To ensure a smooth installation process, I recommend checking if your first layer is wide and hot. If so, you may need to adjust the slot slightly by knocking back the first layer with a file before attempting to install the guide from both sides. A snug fit is preferred over a loose one for optimal performance. For added durability, I utilized four perimeters in my design to guarantee that holes will withstand wear and tear before being worn through. This thoughtful approach ensures longevity and reliability. To accommodate various filament types, I drilled 3mm holes, which ultimately resulted in slightly smaller openings. However, these can be easily enlarged by a hair if you plan to use 3mm filament instead of the standard 1.75 mm filament. This design is uncomplicated yet effective, requiring minimal materials and no nuts or bolts for assembly.
