Geeetech A10 Main Board Fan Cover (full width electronics box)
thingiverse
I've been working with the Geeetech A10, which features a full-width electronics box equipped with two screws on its side that allow for mounting a fan cover. However, there's almost no clearance underneath from the Y axis, causing problems when dealing with rogue pieces of filament that often drop down inside the box. The built-in fan is also quite loud, making it necessary to find alternative solutions. Since I couldn't find any main board fan covers suitable for this model, I created one in tinkercad. This post marks my first contribution here, and initially, I intended it solely for personal use. However, I decided to share it with the community, hoping that if you find this cover useful after printing it, you'll let me know about your experience. The design includes two versions of the fan cover: one features filleted corners for a smoother look, while the other – shown in the photos – has standard 90-degree corners, representing my initial attempt.
