Geeetech A10 DD Orbiter 2.4 E3dV6
thingiverse
This setup uses two 4010 fans, one 30mm radial fan, a 2.4 orbiter extruder motor and a v6 clone hotend on a Geeetech A10 carriage plate. This uses just two 3mmx30mm screws to hold the body together and a couple course-thread m2 screws to attach the fans. The base is my own design, just the shroud was copied and modified. Print the shroud face down with bed supports and you should be fine. Print the base with the back side of the mount facing down. There are 3 different bases. Just different variations of ways to attach the extruder. All use a 3mm screw. -One is to thread a 3mm screw in to (2.8mm hole) -The bolt one has room for a nut on the underside. -The insert one has a 4mm hole to install a threaded insert. The bolt method is clunky. The screw method works fine but reliability unknown. The threaded insert would probably be best but i havent tested it. I'm currently using the bolt version. The 30mm fan is quite loud. Updates: -V2 corrected hole spacing of carriage mount screws. -V3 Added scallop cutout to pass wiring through weird carriage plate notch. -Made a new fan design with shrouding to force airflow over the heatbreak.
