Geeetech A10 BLTouch Mount (stiff, aligned and fixated)
cults3d
Inspired by BennyBoyW's Geeetech A10 BLTouch Mount I wanted to be safe from my clumsy moves and create a stiff version which is aligned in a well-defined way, so that the BLTouch always stays in position, almost no matter how hard I hit it accidentally and frequently :-) As you can see I have connected it directly to Geeetech's Extension Board using theExtension Board Mounting Plate As a goodie I've added a few holes for the cable. By design your config for Marlin should be: #define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 0#define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -33#define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -1 Of course, this can vary depending on your sensor and printer, but you can simply adjust these variables in the OpenSCAD source file: * front_plate_z for the z-position of the sensor from the top * sensor_dist_from_nozzle for the y-offset.
