Gecko DeskPal
thingiverse
This small, charming gecko looks amazing on your desk or stuck to a wall with some sticky adhesive putty. Prints at 100 percent size in under half an hour using standard settings. It even looks great bigger! No raft or support is needed on most printers. It's simplest to remove it from the print bed by sliding a palette knife or something similarly thin underneath its tail and gently working your way forward until you get to the back of the toes, then continuing gently to the front legs to loosen them. The update is: the feet are now completely flat and level on the bottom. Instructions A fantastic way to improve both this model's resilience and looks is to print the first several dozen layers using white semi-flex or PETG filament, then switch to green PLA. This makes it much less likely for the feet to break off. If you're only printing with PLA, try resizing to 150 percent for extra strength.
