Samsung's Gear VR is plagued by overheating of the mounted mobile device. A straightforward solution cools down the smartphone using a 50mm fan powered by three AAA Eneloop batteries. The fan is attached to the phone and utilizes a battery holder, an ON/OFF switch, and a flexible grip originally designed for the Gear VR stick.
