WizoTools' WizoScript is a free Python scripting extension for Alibre Design that provides users with the ability to create custom scripts. To get started, I have compiled a series of basic tutorial documents that walk through fundamental gear theory and design concepts. The first two documents in this series, an introduction to simple gears titled Gear Basics Part 1.pdf and Gear Basics Part 2.pdf, are available for download from this model page. Additional gear design tutorials will be added as they become available.
