Gears the Snowman
myminifactory
Gears the Snowman is an engaging Christmas decoration project. The gears, face, hat, and arm were meticulously drawn in Inkscape and then imported as an SVG design, afterwards extruded using Autodesk. Hex nuts are actually utilized for the teeth, but they appear slightly rounded due to their minute size. I employed a Prusa MK2S for the attached photograph, utilizing a .4mm nozzle, and simply white PLA material. Depending on whether or not a raft is used, it's possible to produce six of these within under 6 hours at a layer height of .2mm. These ornaments required less than 10g of plastic per piece (if a raft isn't utilized). This project makes for an effortless and simple giveaway to your friends with steampunk inclinations during Christmas.
