This is a toy gear set I created for my kid - and myself too. The pole connects together with the arm part. The length of the arm is the sum of the number of teeth on the gears that can be used (Gear 1 has X teeth, Gear 2 has Y teeth; you'll need an X+Y arm to connect them). You can clutch gears together for demultiplication. Print recommendations: Make sure your print temperature isn't too high or the pieces won't fit together. You will need to clean the inside of each gear with a 6mm drill to ensure it doesn't stick to the pole. Printing the base: First, try printing a pole and see if the gears fit. Some PLA expands more than others, causing the gear to grip the pole. I recommend using a skirt with 0mm distance to the model so it acts as a brim; keep the holes clean. The small parts are not suitable for young kids. If you want to make your own bases, I've included a pole model. The distance between the center of the two poles is equal to the total number of teeth on the two gears + 2mm (2mm is the distance between two gears so they don't grind). For Gear 22 and 36, you'll need 60mm.
