Gears

Gears

thingiverse

I initially created this simple machine to test the capabilities of a single-pass print job. My goal was straightforward: produce a functioning device with minimal effort. The result is functional, but it also highlights the limitations of low-end printers. Once printed, I carefully loosen the base using a utility knife and then manually rotate the gears until they spin smoothly. A small amount of light oil applied to each spindle makes this process much easier.
