Gears of Hate from Tomb of Annihilation D&D Dungeon
thingiverse
Hey guys, this is my first real design beyond a simple 3D print coin. I was searching for the Gears of Hate online (Floor 5 of Tomb Of Annihilation) but couldn't find any suitable models, so I decided to create them myself. They are accurate in terms of layout. Print the three gears and the base, then assemble them in the correct order with each piece oriented correctly relative to one another (see the book for details). They should be able to rotate freely into different orientations as per player handout 24. The models aren't perfect, and the corridors don't align precisely, but the walls are thin enough that you can bend them to fit together once the gears are assembled. I designed the models with sufficient clearance/tolerance for various printers in mind. For my printer, the gears click onto the base securely, yet still allow for rotation. The base is a bit thin, but it should be flexible enough to accommodate the gears if you need to remove or adjust them. Hope you like this design! Here's the base gear I used as inspiration: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1516585
