Gears for custom cog work
thingiverse
These custom gears are designed specifically for your unique projects. Print them out in large quantities and experiment with different designs to find the one that suits you best. I was motivated by Roland Walters' Gear Head: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6O6ZRlQi34, where he showcases his dedication to crafting individual cogs from plywood with great enthusiasm. 3D printing will undoubtedly make this process much more efficient. My personal design can be viewed here: https://www.facebook.com/7SteamPunk/videos/296596064071544 The inner diameter for the axis is 6mm, while the module is set at 2.5mm. I have provided .stl files for gears with teeth ranging from 15 to 40. For more Steampunk designs, visit My Steampunk Stuff. Print Settings: Printer: Custom Prusa Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 30% Notes: Adding extra infill may enhance the gear's rigidity. Post-Printing: Don't forget to share your creations with me - I'm eager to see how they turn out!
