GearMaker for Rhino Grasshopper

This Gear Generator lets you create gears in Rhino with customizable geometry - inner/outer diameter, number of spokes, number of teeth, etc. All gear parameters are controlled by numeric sliders. Dr. Henry Casson, an expert on clock mechanisms, collaborated with me to develop this file. Note that the ends of the gear teeth are circular arcs. Ideally, these curves should be involutes, but I haven't found a way to create such curves yet. Although this design is primarily intended for clock gears, it can easily be used or adapted for other purposes as well.
