Gearhead iPhone Dock, Spiral Bevel 51T/17T or 3:1 Gear Ratio

This is a functional rotating, spiral bevel gear, iPhone dock that's also quite fanciful - I mean, just look at it. As an engineer by trade, I'm a bit of a gear head, and this dock was specifically designed to route the OEM Apple lightning cord through its rotational shaft/base. This prevents binding when the assembly spins around. Using GearTrax CAD software, I created a perfect spiral bevel gear mesh with a 3:1 reduction ratio. The dock was printed in eSun white PLA on an Ultimaker 2 Extended 3D printer. I designed this iPhone dock to be fun and functional for any EngiNerd who loves gears.
