Choose an extruder, such as those from Phidgets or Makergear's gearhead, and pair it with a T1 extruder guide, inspired by Greg's design but enclosed. For the T1 extruder for car v0.9, consider the version mounted on TrinityLabs rail or an alternative with a secondary guide on the extruder body. Opt for the T1 extruder v0.9 if you prefer a standard RepRap carriage over a rail. The T1 idler is identical to Greg's guidler. For versatility, select the T1 extruder compatible with both NEMA 11 and NEMA 17 gearheads, featuring additional holes for the former. All extruders include mounting holes for a 40mm fan aimed at the hot end. Don't forget to secure a hot end using a groovemount if your setup requires it.
