Geared Pull Return mechanism

Geared Pull Return mechanism

Hey everyone. This simple design I created was a must-have for my project. One way to achieve a longer pull is by expanding the lever on the left gear. When connected to a motor, if the rotating gear is larger, it takes more time to complete each cycle and return to its original position. If you need these adjustments, feel free to send me a WhatsApp message at 00385976507929 - that's Robert. I also designed a holder but didn't have a chance to test it yet. I simply inserted it into a piece of wood. The bearings used are roller bearings, and two 8 mm holes were drilled for the gears. A washer was placed between the bearings and the wood, and another one above the gear with a nut. You'll need a bolt to rotate the active gear; there's a hole for that. The brake is just a nail with a piece of rubber on it, and there's another nail with a rubber band. The rubber band needs to gently pull the lever so it doesn't rotate clockwise, which is enough for return. Otherwise, it becomes too hard to rotate. You could also use a spring to return the gear. If you have any questions or need further clarification, I'm here to help.
