Geared Marble Labyrinth

Geared Marble Labyrinth

thingiverse

A labyrinth with gear controls instead of cord-twisted rods is possible to print in its entirety. By rotating 180 degrees, a gear serves as the inner pivot for the maze; any rotation of the outer axis perpendicular to the inner one displays the same face to the attached gear. A gear generator (thing:195160) was employed with an angular pitch of 5mm and 20 teeth per circle. OpenSCAD was slightly modified to achieve a 360-degree rotation, while Repetier-Host v0.90D cleaned up the models for manifoldness and no intersecting triangles.
