Geared Maker Coin PIP - PrusaFrame
prusaprinters

Immediately when I saw this maker coin for the Prusa Community's December print contest I knew I wanted to print this with my MMU2.0. Boba Maker was kind enough to share the files so I could do just that!

This should be a very easy print as long as your multi-material printer is tuned! My shortest print-time was around 6.5 hours for two colors and 13 hours for all five colors.

File Notes:
Just to explain the way I have the files setup;
-You'll see the different center body designs as different prints.
-Plane Body
-Letter 'D' Body
-Open Hardware Body
-Prusa Frame Body
-Prusa Research Logo Body
-There are three different versions of each, 0.2mm, 0.35mm, 0.5mm tolerances for all files.
-There is an included high-infill mesh modifier.
-There is a .3mf file for the 0.35mm tolerance (with my MMU2.0 & filament settings).
-The plane body design has .3mf files for each tolerance.
-My recommendation is to use the plane .3mf files as a template and to swap out the center body you want to print with in that tolerance. This should make it easier to swap out the different designs without having to re-setup all of your settings.

Have fun & happy printing!

01/30/19 - I've added a new design with the Prusa Research logo as suggested by Boba Maker

Print instructions

If using the provided 3MF files note that I've set some settings for my MMU2 outside of the defaults. Please look at these prior to printing to make sure it is okay for your printer or not.

Some other things to note:
-When changing the colors of each object and using the high-infill mesh modifier; the mesh modifier should match the color for the center body. This just increases performance and reduces time if it's the same.
-The purging volumes should be adjusted for your filament.
-In Slic3r PE I set my Elephant foot compensation to 0.2 to avoid fusing
