Geared Extruder for 3mm Filament This Geared Extruder is designed specifically for use with 3mm filament, but can also be used with 2.85 and 1.75 mm filament with no modifications needed. I created this extruder to replace the old one on my K8200 3D printer from Velleman, which had given up. The gear ratio remains unchanged, so no firmware updates are required. The filament guide section can be easily customized to fit your specific filament diameter by drilling it to size. The driver part of this Extruder features an M8 bolt that has been turned down to 5 mm at the end to securely fit the filament driver gear. Please consult the pictures for detailed dimensions. If you have a higher Hot End, you can swap out the "hot end bracket part1.stl" file with the "hot end bracket part1 2.5mm higher.stl" file instead. I originally intended to use a cheap Chinese Hot End but ended up switching to a European-made one, which caused me to create this modified bracket. The additional parts can be found in the pictures provided. The dark gray components were printed using PET-G Carbon, while the Orange parts are made from ABS.
