Gearbox 186:1
cults3d
This is my compact 3D printed gearbox, boasting a 186:1 ratio, designed for the MT86-3-6V mini DC motor found at botland.com.pl/en/dc-motors-without-gears/4721-mini-dc-motor-mt86-3-6v.html. I'm confident this design will also work seamlessly with other motors featuring a 2mm shaft diameter. This gearbox serves as a direct replacement for the TT motor found on aliexpress.com/item/2-sztuk-TT-silnik-130-silnik-samoch-d-zdalnie-sterowany-motoreduktor-dla-Arduino-DC3V-6V-DC/32868653773.html. To assemble this gearbox, you'll need the following components: all 3D printed parts (2 spacers), the motor itself, and several additional tools. These include hot glue to secure the motor and gear, 2x 3mm screws, and their corresponding screw nuts. Additionally, you'll require a 2mm drill bit and a 3mm drill bit for drilling holes in the screws and through the gears. A 23.5mm x 2mm shaft, as well as a 27mm or longer x 2mm shaft, will also be necessary. If your motor's shaft is too long, you can use a Dremel tool to trim it down. In case any part doesn't fit perfectly, don't hesitate to use sandpaper for adjustments. I plan to utilize this gearbox as the drive system in my autonomous vacuum cleaner robot project and aim to upload various versions of this gearbox with different ratios to explore their potential applications.
