This is a replacement electronics enclosure for the Gearbest T8 CNC Engraver, designed to offer superior dust protection, improved ventilation, and enhanced convenience. This enclosure combines both stepper electronics and spindle into one 24V jack input, eliminating the need for two separate PSUs like the original design. The stepper drivers function perfectly on 24V, actually performing better than 12V, and the motor draws 6A when in full stall, 400mA during regular operation. Consequently, the included 24V 8A PSU is sufficient. Additional decoupling capacitors can be installed on the Arduino side (as shown in pictures), and filtering caps and a flyback diode **must** be added to the motor terminals. The enclosure also features a mounting hole for a 3.5mm socket, intended to connect probe pins (for easy attachment of an external Z probe). The top and bottom parts were designed to fit snugly together using bronze M3 posts from the engraver packaging. However, screw/hole alignment makes this impractical in practice, especially when printing with ABS without an enclosure. To overcome this issue, buy a long M3 threaded rod, cut it to size, and clamp the top/bottom parts using nuts from each side.
