The Gearantula was the fifth mek produced by Sprocket & Co during the Third Cold War, part of the CoGweB series. They were primarily used for PSI by military and police forces. Less than 50 Gearantulas survived the Final Surge; most are now used by mercenary outfits for surveillance and seek-and-destroy missions. This model has been designed to be printed in pieces with no supports required, making it completely poseable. It is recommended to print the body at 30% infill and the rest at 80-100%. The screw and nut parts should be printed at the highest possible resolution for optimal performance. To assemble the Gearantula, you will need to print the following pieces: eight screw halves (1 and 2), eight nuts (1, 2, and 3), sixteen legs (1 or 2), one fang half (1 or 2), and one body half (1 or 2). Refer to the pictures above for detailed assembly instructions. Designed in Autodesk Inventor.
