Gear Wine Rack
thingiverse
We stumbled upon an intriguing gear-shaped wine holder in a quaint boutique several years ago and couldn't help but kick ourselves for not making it our own back then. This project is designed as a means of rectifying that oversight. It's worth noting that this project could be scaled down by roughly 10-15% while still accommodating the majority of wine bottles, making it a more manageable undertaking. To assemble this piece, simply print two copies of each section and you'll have your front and back halves. Ensure that the bolt connecting holes align before applying any adhesive to guarantee a smooth assembly process. A considerable amount of time was devoted to sanding, but as the accompanying images clearly illustrate, even more attention could have been paid to this aspect of the project. TIP: When printing the gear sections, consider reducing the thickness from 15mm to 12mm to expedite production and minimize material usage.
