This is a thing of the Gear-xxxhedron collection. Description: The gears aren't moving because a triangular mesh won't spin around. Give it to a friend and he'll get a knot in his mind! I prefer smaller objects, this is the reduced version of my previous gear tetrahedron. (It's not scaled, it's a complete remix.) New: There are new pinpegs. Standard pinpegs have two sides and are too long for the small central piece. So I've designed one-sided pinpegs with another spring mechanism. The short side needs to be glued. Howto: Print 1 center, 4 pins. All 4 gears must use the same STL-file! You'll select different numbers of teeth and gear positions. For one gear tetrahedron, you need to print 4 identical gears from the same STL file. Can be printed in PLA or ABS, whichever you prefer. Pins are recommended in ABS if desired.
