Gear switch arm

Gear switch arm

On My 20HP Johnson outboard engine The gear switch arm was broken. This part is only available as a complete unit. Steel rod with heat-shrunk plastic T-Split. As I'm not exactly lazy, I didn't want to remove the entire engine just to replace this outer plastic piece. So, I created a new plastic part that fits extremely tight. Heat up the rod for a few seconds then press on the new printed part and the gear switch arm is as good as new. There are two versions available: one as original which requires pressing onto place, second version is clamp type requiring an M6 screw and nut.
