Gear Spinner
thingiverse
Have Fun! This is a fidget spinner where finger pads interlock as gears, turning faster when the spinner turns. It makes a pleasant gear sound and is fun to play with. I'd like to share a .mov file but don't know how, so any guidance on sharing it would be great. The gear bearing caps work with any spinner that has bearings 28mm apart. Print two gears for each bearing or one if you only want them on one side. UPDATE: I've added a compatible trispinner and am currently printing. I'll post a picture when finished. Print Settings: Printer: Da Vinci Mini Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: Any Infill: Any Notes: I used a brim due to my printer's poor adhesion, but removing excess plastic from the gears was frustrating. If you experience minimal warping, no raft or brim is necessary.
