Gear shifter knob for Ford F350

When your truck's shifter knob breaks at Bonneville, you simply 3D print a new one! The broken knob was used as a reference, and the design was created using Autodesk Inventor. The knob was printed in NinjaTek SemiFlex polyurethane on a LulzBot TAZ 5 printer. To make it easier to press onto the gear shifter shaft, the knob was placed in hot water. The old gear indicator was also moved to the new design. The print settings were as follows: the printer brand is LulzBot, and the model used was the TAZ 5. No rafts or supports were needed for this print. The infill percentage was set at 20%. To ensure that the knob didn't fall over during printing, it was printed on blue tape with a wide 2-layer brim.
