This is a 2-gear set and mount specifically designed for a 28BYJ-48 stepper. The gears spin smoothly and without any sideways play on their shafts, thanks to a lot of tweaking with tolerances in revision 12. This latest version seems to be working well. A 24-tooth gear is press-fitted by hand onto the stepper shaft, which should be approximately 3mm if you're using the same stepper model. To mount the stepper, use short 3m bolts. You can shorten existing bolts using bolt cutters on wire cutters. I'm currently working on a kit that allows you to mix and match different gears with multiple plates, making it actually useful.
