Gear S Bangle/Strap
thingiverse
Simple holder and straps for Gear S printer project. It prints flat, but fits when bent into shape to fit the watch face perfectly. I have used my prototype for a good 3 weeks now, and it works amazingly well! The original buckle is far too big when using a keyboard or typing away. With this version I can hardly feel it at all on my wrist. I printed mine in PLA Flex from Orbi-Tech, but any flexible material with a little bit of strength will do the trick just fine. The LockPin was printed in regular old PLA plastic. Print Settings: Printer: K8200 Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 100% Notes: I used one layer of raft to make extracting the part from my heated bed a breeze. Post-Printing: Pin: Add a small pin (1mm) from a paperclip, wire or whatever will secure the straps firmly to the bangle.
